The candidate will assist in the defense of statewide class actions and PAGA representative actions involving a broad range of employment-related claims. Represent employers in court, arbitrations, depositions and mediations for employment-related class actions and PAGA representative actions. Should have a JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials. Experienced class action attorneys at all levels will be considered for statewide class action defense practice if needed. Current California Bar admission or ability to obtain admission is needed. Should have 2-4 years or more of class action litigation experience preferred, with an employment law background preferred. Case handling, law and motion, discovery and deposition experience are required. Class certification experience is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence is needed. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills are needed. Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork is required.
