Duties

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Conduct legal research and prepare litigation memoranda
• Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Advise on employment law compliance issues related to ongoing litigation
• Assist with development of case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Manage assigned caseloads and meet all court deadlines
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation
• Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures
• Experience managing discovery and motion practice
• Ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of Florida
• Admission to Florida federal courts is preferred but not required
