A law firm seeks a driven Civil Litigation Attorney in Columbus, Ohio. This partner-track position offers the opportunity to manage cases, appear in court, and handle complex real estate, consumer protection, and business litigation matters. The role involves working with experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment, managing clients, and developing litigation strategies with a clear path toward leadership.

Duties

• Serve as lead trial counsel in complex civil litigation in state and federal court.
• Draft and finalize legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Develop case strategies based on client needs and financial capacity.
• Communicate effectively with clients about litigation risks and goals.
• Collaborate with partners and supervise junior associates.

Requirements

• 4+ years of civil litigation experience in state and/or federal courts.
• Ohio Bar license in good standing.
• Strong writing and advocacy skills with a proven record in motion practice and trial work.
• Ability to manage complex cases and client relationships independently.
• Interest in leadership and long-term growth within the firm.
• Experience managing and resolving discovery issues.
• Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior attorneys is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
