A prominent law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a mid-level associate with a strong foundation in complex commercial disputes to join its managed care litigation team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in high-stakes litigation and arbitration, particularly in the healthcare or managed care sectors. This opportunity is being offered through a legal recruiting firm on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

• Lead and manage commercial litigation and arbitration matters

• Act as the primary associate on assigned cases, overseeing all phases of litigation

• Coordinate with internal teams, including junior attorneys and legal support staff

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and serve as the day-to-day contact

• Draft, review, and manage litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery

• Participate in strategy development and contribute to case planning

• Support trial and hearing preparation as needed

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience handling complex commercial litigation and arbitration

• Proven ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously

• Capable of taking ownership of litigation responsibilities from start to finish

• Experience with managed care or broader healthcare litigation is strongly preferred

• Active member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania (required)
