Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking experienced lateral partner candidates to join its Corporate & Private Equity team. This position offers flexibility in location across multiple office locations, and candidates must be in good standing with their respective state bar.

Location:

• Atlanta, GA 

Duties:

• Provide strategic advice to companies, private equity funds, and venture capital funds
• Handle mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance
• Engage in business development and client relationship management
• Draft and review complex transactional documents
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

• 10 to 15 years of meaningful corporate/transactional experience
• In-depth knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and private equity
• Proven track record in corporate governance
• Strong business development skills with some portable business

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the state bar where practicing

Skills:

• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication abilities
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
