The successful candidate will work in a hybrid office/remote setting to defend high-exposure matters during all phases of litigation, representing hospitals, health systems, long-term care facilities, and individual healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Develop expert witness and trial strategy.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Perform legal research.
• Draft pleadings and dispositive motions.
• Represent clients during courtroom appearances and arguments.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of practice in civil litigation.
• Experience in conducting and defending depositions preferred.
• Excellent research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Illinois license is mandatory.
• Indiana license is a benefit.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
