Business Immigration Law Associate Attorney – Hybrid Role

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a highly skilled Business Immigration Associate to join its dynamic immigration practice. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that supports a global client base. The role involves advising on a range of employment-based immigration matters, with a strong focus on client engagement, legal strategy, and oversight of case preparation. While this position is based in Santa Monica, remote candidates available during Pacific Time Zone business hours may be considered.

Duties:

• Provide legal analysis and strategy recommendations for employment-based immigration petitions

• Advise corporate clients on business immigration options and compliance matters

• Supervise and coordinate with paralegals and legal support teams to ensure the accuracy and timely submission of filings

• Lead communication with clients throughout case lifecycles

• Perform in-depth legal reviews and quality control of case documentation prepared by support staff

• Respond to case-related inquiries and guide clients and internal teams

• Support additional legal and procedural tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar

• 3-5 years of focused experience in business immigration law

• Strong knowledge of non-immigrant (H-1B, L, TN, E, B visas) and immigrant visa (PERM, AOS, IV) processes

• Preferred familiarity with high-volume and writing-intensive matters, such as O-1, EB-1A/B, and EB-2 NIW

• Proven success in managing complex workflows in a high-output legal environment

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with excellent prioritization skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and valid license to practice law in the United States

• Capacity to manage simultaneous projects under tight timelines
