A law firm seeks an admitted attorney for a promising Post Conviction Relief Attorney position in Los Angeles, CA. The attorney will manage their caseload, engage with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties

• Advise clients on legal rights and draft legal documents.
• Handle post-conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate and expungements.
• Attend motion hearings and advise clients on strategies.
• Manage open criminal cases, including arraignments and sentencing.
• Conduct court appearances, draft motions, and perform legal research.
• Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents.

Requirements

• Experience in criminal defense or immigration law.
• Experience handling state and local criminal cases.
• Team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
