A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate to join its Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of finance experience, stellar academic credentials, and comparable law firm experience. Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice are required.

Duties

• Advise clients on accessing and deploying capital across borders and industries.
• Participate in debt restructuring matters for both debtors and creditors.
• Work with credit investors on structuring novel credit investments.
• Assist private equity sponsors with leveraged buyouts and acquisitions.
• Engage in senior secured debt, high yield, and bridge financings.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of finance experience in a law firm setting.
• Stellar academic credentials.
• Admission to the bar and good standing in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
