A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Counsel in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, representing clients in commercial, estate, and general civil litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases from initial investigation through trial or resolution, with significant client and courtroom exposure.

Duties

• Manage an active litigation caseload across various legal areas.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions, draft motions, and appear in state and federal courts.
• Provide strategic counsel aligned with client objectives and budgets.
• Draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and court personnel.
• Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
• 3-8 years of litigation experience, ideally in commercial and estate/trust disputes.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational ability and professional judgment.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal solutions.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the New York Bar (in good standing).
