A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Princeton, NJ. The successful candidate will represent design professionals in construction law matters, focusing on claims of professional negligence and contract disputes related to design changes.

Duties

• Represent design professionals in litigation involving contract claims and professional negligence.
• Engage in pre-trial work, including motion practice, discovery, and collaboration with expert witnesses.
• Participate in trial proceedings in federal, state, or tribal courts, and arbitration.
• Handle cases involving construction defects and bodily injury/wrongful death claims.

Requirements

• Experience in construction law representing design professionals.
• Trial experience in federal, state, or tribal courts, and/or arbitration.
• Experience with insurance carriers and coverage is a plus.
• Prior experience at a reputable law firm is preferred.
• A minimum portable book of $350K is preferred, but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
