Duties:

• Handle and manage civil litigation cases, with a focus on first-party property and third-party liability claims.
• Perform motion practice, including drafting and filing motions.
• Take and defend depositions, including Examinations Under Oath.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct thorough coverage analysis and provide legal guidance on various claims.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to support case strategy and development.
• Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and effective communication throughout the case lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Active and valid license to practice law in Mississippi.
• At least 8 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically handling property and liability claims.
• Strong motion practice and deposition experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi.
