Commercial Attorney (Construction & Manufacturing)
The candidate will draft, negotiate and administer contracts in order to meet business goals, deadlines and manage risk. Negotiate and advise on a variety of contracts, including manufacturing, construction contracts, equipment support agreements, vendor contracts and real estate leases. Lead and/or support the drafting and rollout of corporate compliance policies including, e.g., data privacy, document retention and anti-corruption. Support corporate acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence and document drafting. Comfortable advising international clients and working on cross-border transactions. Managing outside counsel in a cost-effective manner. Bachelors’ Degree and Juris Doctorate, 8-10 years’ experience with proven background in contracts and commercial transactions with a focus on construction and manufacturing. Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania or Florida, must be in good standing with no disciplinary history. If not admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the ability to obtain a Limited In-House Corporate License. Candidate will be an efficient and resourceful worker with an ability to multitask on a variety of matters under significant time pressure. Highly motivated, detail-oriented and attracted to challenging opportunities within a rapidly growing environment. Excellent judgment, and strong interpersonal, project management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to changing business environments. In-house experience, Law firm experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-starter that can work independently and in large groups. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multiple projects of different scales. Effective conflict management skills.
