A reputable law firm based in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a mid-level attorney with at least two years of experience handling workers' compensation and employer liability matters. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance defense or personal injury law and must hold active licenses in both Maryland and Pennsylvania. Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload involving workers' compensation and employer liability matters

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence

• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings

• Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure case strategies align with client goals

• Meet deadlines and comply with all procedural and ethical requirements

Requirements:

• Admission to the bars of Maryland and Pennsylvania (mandatory)

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience

• Familiarity with Maryland and Pennsylvania workers' compensation statutes and practices

• Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume workload efficiently

• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active law licenses in Maryland and Pennsylvania

• Admission in DE, DC, VA, or WV is a plus

Skills:

• Strong research, analytical, and writing abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and organizational capability

• Proficiency with paperless legal systems and digital case management tools

Job Location:

• A hybrid arrangement with three in-office days required weekly
