A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Douglasville, Georgia. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Managing Attorney on diverse legal matters, gaining valuable experience and mentorship.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
• Assist in case management and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and legal solutions.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Contribute to the firm's business development and marketing efforts as appropriate.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• 2-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
