A law firm in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Associate Attorney with expertise in bankruptcy and transactional law. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, research, and analytical skills, and will be capable of managing complex legal matters effectively. Wisconsin Bar admission is required.

Duties:

• Handle bankruptcy and transactional law cases, including drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client recommendations.
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy and transactional matters.
• Attend and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on bankruptcy and transactional issues, negotiating terms as necessary.
• Manage and organize case files, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop case strategies and implement solutions.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices.

Requirements:

• Experience in bankruptcy and transactional law.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to handle complex legal issues independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Wisconsin Bar admission is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the state of Wisconsin, in good standing.
