Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Construction Law Associate for its Las Vegas office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries. The role involves engaging in both litigation and transactional work within the construction law practice.

Duties

• Engage in litigation and transactional work related to construction law.
• Draft and review work letters, AIA contracts, and other project documentation.
• Handle disputes involving construction and design defects, delay claims, and mechanics liens.
• Collaborate with clients from diverse industries to address construction-related legal issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in construction law, including litigation and/or transactions.
• Experience with EPC is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and initiative to take ownership of work.
• Good standing with the NV State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree with solid academic performance.

Certifications

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing construction-related contracts.
• Ability to manage complex litigation and transactional matters.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
