A law firm seeks a Business and Real Estate Attorney in San Rafael, California. This role involves working directly with clients, managing relationships from initial consultation through transaction completion, and providing comprehensive legal support in business and real estate matters.

Duties

• Guide clients through entity formation, governance, dissolutions, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contracts.
• Draft and review various agreements, including operating, shareholder, buy-sell, and partnership agreements.
• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and easements.
• Lead due diligence, closings, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys while maintaining a leadership role in the Business Department.

Requirements

• 3+ years of business transactional law experience; estate planning experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and conduct initial consultations.
• Comfortable with selling legal services and building long-term client relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Licensed attorney by the California State Bar.

• State Bar Certified.
