Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an experienced employment litigation attorney to join its litigation practice group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex business litigation cases, with a primary focus on employment, shareholder, and commercial disputes. Duties:

• Advise and counsel clients on various employment and human resource-related legal matters.
• Draft and review employment agreements, policies, and company handbooks.
• Conduct internal audits and investigations for clients.
• Perform legal research and draft memoranda on employment and business litigation matters.
• Represent clients in litigated disputes involving employment, shareholder, intellectual property, franchise, and fiduciary matters.
• Provide legal guidance on labor, employment, and internal management issues.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to achieve client goals.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in employment litigation and/or counseling in a law firm setting.
• Strong background in handling employment, shareholder, and business-related disputes.
• Experience managing cases involving allegations against employees, officers, directors, and shareholders.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to resolve disputes and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to teamwork and client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota and good standing.
• Additional bar admissions in other states are a plus.
• CPA, MBA, or other relevant professional experience is beneficial.
