Job Overview:

A well-established law firm is seeking a partner-level attorney with experience in corporate, business, and commercial real estate matters to join its Richmond, Virginia office. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a strategic role in advising clients on transactions including governance, contracts, real estate, and M&A. The ideal candidate will be organized, collaborative, and capable of efficiently managing and closing transactions while providing high-level client service.

Location:

• Richmond, Virginia

Duties:

• Advise clients on corporate governance and compliance matters

• Draft and negotiate complex business agreements and contracts

• Handle entity formation and structuring

• Manage commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, leasing, and financing

• Lead or support mergers and acquisitions from start to close

• Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups on client service

• Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic legal counsel

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in corporate, business, and/or commercial real estate law

• Strong transactional background including M&A, contract negotiation, and real estate deals

• Ability to manage client matters independently and as part of a team

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar (required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
