Construction Contract Manager - High-Speed Rail
The candidate will determine change order merit, evaluate and estimate the level of effort for hours and costs, negotiate with the contractor and write up Findings of Facts and Records of Negotiation. Will draft documents to support the change order dispute resolution process up through and including arbitration. Investigates and draft finding of fact documents based on the terms and conditions of the Contract agreement. Ability to understand the Design-Build delivery method being used, and coordinate responses based on the Contract terms and conditions. Establish and maintain professional business relations with clients. Lead a team in the analysis or preparation of complex construction claims, being responsible for the deliverable to the client, whether it be a report, presentation or expert testimony. Interface effectively with clients, coworkers, and others.
