Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate to join the Securities and Capital Markets Group in Miami, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary practice, engaging closely with shareholders and participating in business development and client-facing activities.

Duties

• Collaborate with team members on corporate, securities, and capital markets transactions.
• Participate in debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance and reporting.
• Engage in client development and relationship management activities.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A at an AM Law 100 firm.
• Experience with debt and equity offerings, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

• J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.

Certifications

• Admitted and in good standing in Illinois, New York, District of Columbia, or Florida.

Skills

• Strong transactional skills.
• Experience with securitizations and aviation clients is an asset.
