Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist in the preparation and management of cases from inception through trial.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the litigation team.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• 5-7 years of litigation experience in civil cases.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Trial experience or significant exposure to courtroom proceedings.
