A prestigious law firm is seeking a U.S. Associate Attorney with experience in banking transactions to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing borrowers, arrangers, agents, and lenders in both domestic and international banking transactions. Proficiency in Spanish is required, along with a proactive, team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills. The role offers the opportunity to work on various finance-related transactions, including acquisition, leveraged, infrastructure, and trade finance.

Represent borrowers, arrangers, agents, and lenders in U.S. domestic and international banking transactions.
Handle acquisition finance, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, fund finance, trade finance, and other commercial loan transactions.
Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to provide strategic legal advice and solutions for banking clients.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in both written and oral formats.
Manage and support the negotiation, drafting, and execution of banking agreements and transactions.
Provide proactive and timely legal advice in various banking and finance areas.
Stay up to date on developments in banking law and industry trends.
U.S. J.D. or LLM (Class of 2018 - 2023).
Admission to the New York State Bar is preferred, but pending admission is acceptable.
Fluency in Spanish (both written and oral).
Experience in representing clients in banking transactions, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, and other commercial loan transactions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive, team-oriented approach to work.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar (pending admission is acceptable).
Proficiency in Spanish (both written and verbal).
Strong understanding of banking transactions and finance law.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
Strong negotiation, drafting, and legal research skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
