A law firm seeks a Real Estate and Estate Planning Attorney for its office in Calabash, North Carolina. The successful candidate will manage residential real estate closings and provide legal support to clients in real estate and estate planning matters. Duties

• Lead all aspects of real estate closings, including contract review, due diligence, and document preparation.
• Advise clients throughout transactions and communicate with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.
• Identify and resolve issues related to title, payoff, HOA/condo matters, and lender requirements.
• Stay informed on North Carolina real estate laws and local practices.
• Support estate planning or probate matters as needed.
• Maintain accurate files and checklists to ensure timely closings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license in North Carolina (in good standing); South Carolina license is a plus.
• 1-3+ years of experience in real estate transactions preferred; estate planning exposure a plus.
• Exceptional client service and professional communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; accuracy under deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
