Capital Markets Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in New York City is seeking a Capital Markets Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in sophisticated corporate transactions and possess strong analytical and writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience or a desire to work with a sophisticated practice focused on the power and utilities industries. New York Bar membership is required for this role.

Duties:

• Participate in various aspects of capital markets transactions, including securities offerings, public and private financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to capital markets regulations and industry trends.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including offering memoranda, prospectuses, and agreements.
• Assist in due diligence reviews and client communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure transactional processes are executed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:

• Strong academic record with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• 1-2 years of experience in sophisticated corporate transactions.

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the New York Bar.
