Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Transactional Lawyer for its Investment Team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves representing capital providers in debt and equity investment activities, including lending transactions and private equity investments. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across the capital structure and engage with both equity and debt investors.

Duties

• Represent lenders in lending transactions.
• Advise alternative investment vehicles on debt and equity investments.
• Assist private equity fund investors with control and growth equity investments.
• Support portfolio companies in acquisition, sell-side, and financing activities.

Requirements

• Two to six years of transactional experience, preferably in finance or corporate transactions.
• Excellent academic performance.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Education

• Law degree.

Certifications

• Eligibility for North Carolina Bar admission is preferred.

Skills

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
