The candidate must have a strong academic record paired with the skills and enthusiasm for a career in business and real estate. Experience preparing documents for business organizations, including corporate formation, terms and conditions, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as service as outside general business counsel, and real estate acquisition and disposition is preferred. Two to Four years of experience practicing law post J.D. preferred. Candidates must be licensed (or willing and able to become license) and be in good standing to practice law in the state of Michigan. The associate attorney will have the opportunity to work with various types of businesses, including private and publicly traded corporations, non-profits, and other organizations.
