Junior to Senior Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Junior to Senior Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney to join their structured finance securitization practice. The successful candidate will have significant experience with asset-backed securities transactions, warehouse financing, and asset-based lending. They will be expected to bring strong academic credentials and sophisticated transaction experience to the role.

Duties:

• Handle and manage asset-backed securities transactions and other structured finance deals.
• Provide legal advice and support for warehouse financing and asset-based lending transactions.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including indentures, loan agreements, and securitization documents.
• Conduct due diligence and manage transaction documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to structure complex financing transactions.
• Advise on regulatory and compliance issues related to structured finance.
• Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with various stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting structured finance.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in structured finance, including asset-backed securities transactions and related areas.
• Proven experience with warehouse financing and asset-based lending transactions.
• Strong law firm and transaction experience, demonstrating sophisticated handling of complex deals.
• Solid academic credentials from an ABA-approved law school.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Illinois Bar or eligibility to become licensed in Illinois.
