A law firm seeks a highly experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its team in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in managing complex commercial acquisition and disposition transactions, as well as commercial financings. The role also requires a strong background in drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements. Duties:

• Lead and manage sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
• Draft and negotiate joint venture agreements, ensuring alignment with clients' objectives and business strategies
• Provide legal counsel on the structuring and execution of complex real estate deals
• Collaborate with clients, developers, and other real estate professionals to ensure smooth execution of transactions
• Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring all legal aspects of transactions are thoroughly reviewed and addressed
• Advise clients on risk management strategies and legal solutions related to real estate investments and financing
• Work on structuring joint ventures and partnerships in the commercial real estate sector
• Prepare and review legal documents related to commercial transactions, including purchase agreements, financing documents, and operating agreements
• Assist in resolving disputes related to real estate transactions and joint ventures through negotiation or litigation

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a strong emphasis on acquisition, disposition, and financing transactions
• Extensive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating joint venture agreements
• Deep understanding of commercial real estate financing and investment structures
• Proven ability to manage complex legal transactions and work with multiple stakeholders
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior attorneys and staff
• High level of initiative and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise legal writing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (or eligibility for admission)

• Expertise in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
