We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 5–7 years of experience in civil litigation, intellectual property matters, and/or complex contract drafting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills, exceptional writing ability, and the ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and litigate civil matters from initial filing through trial and/or settlement
Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and commercial agreements
Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and enforcement
Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, motions, and pleadings
Manage discovery processes, depositions, and evidentiary preparation
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and timely manner
Provide strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams
Assist with business development and contribute to the overall growth of the firm
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in [State]
5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation, IP, and/or contract drafting
Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience working directly with clients preferred
