Associate Attorney

Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 5–7 years of experience in civil litigation, intellectual property matters, and/or complex contract drafting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills, exceptional writing ability, and the ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and litigate civil matters from initial filing through trial and/or settlement

• Draft, revise, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and commercial agreements

• Handle intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and enforcement

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, motions, and pleadings

• Manage discovery processes, depositions, and evidentiary preparation

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and timely manner

• Provide strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams

• Assist with business development and contribute to the overall growth of the firm

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Active bar membership in [State]

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in litigation, IP, and/or contract drafting

• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience working directly with clients preferred
