Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and provide case updates.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and complaints.
• Assist in managing caseloads, including organizing case files and deadlines.
• Prepare and conduct depositions, including questioning witnesses.
• Assist with the discovery process, including drafting and responding to requests.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of litigation or clerkship experience.
• Strong skills in legal writing, research, and analysis.
• Effective and persuasive communication abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
• Commitment to advocating for individuals deprived of legal rights.
• Admitted to the New York Bar.
