Government Contracts Associate

The candidate should have 2-7 years of government contracts experience, preferably in a private law firm practice. Should have relevant experience including: working knowledge of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s socioeconomic government contracting programs, including the small business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, 8(a) Business Development, and HUBZone programs; experience supporting procurement fraud investigations and related litigation; experience prosecuting and defending bid protests before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and GAO, as well as appeals before SBA's Office of Hearings and Appeals; and general counseling on government contracts-related business and regulatory issues. Must demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients; have excellent academic credentials; be diligent and detail-oriented; and demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively. Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction for the residing office (D.C., VA, or MD).
