A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its Dallas, Texas office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land work and oil and gas law, committed to providing exceptional legal service in the energy industry.

Duties

• Draft, review, and interpret oil and gas title opinions, contracts, and related documents.
• Advise clients on land, mineral, and energy development matters.
• Conduct due diligence and title research for transactions and exploration projects.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Texas oil and gas law, regulations, and industry practices.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Landman or in oil and gas-related work.
• Preference for candidates with at least 2 years of experience practicing oil and gas law as an attorney.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
