Duties

• Manage a high volume of mortgage foreclosure and collections cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and handle related travel requirements.
• Develop and maintain industry relationships to enhance firm reputation.
• Contribute to the firm's growth as a top-performing legal practice.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the NY state Bar.
• Licensed or able to obtain a license in New York federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
• Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
• Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to superior client support and sound judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of New York (required).
• Additional state licenses are a plus.
