Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably with a focus on Higher Education. The ideal candidate should possess a strong desire to learn and specialize in the Higher Education practice area, excellent academic credentials, and exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters with a focus on Higher Education cases.
• Conducted legal research and drafted documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client representation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Previous experience or a demonstrated interest in Higher Education law.
• Strong desire to learn and specialize in the Higher Education practice area.
• Excellent academic background.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
