Assistant General Counsel - Information Technology/Compliance
Duties: Review, draft and negotiate buy and sell-side IT and IoT-related agreements, including those relating to the acquisition and/or licensing of software, SaaS, or professional services. Actively participate in and provide counsel to Parker’s data privacy and cyber security teams. Negotiating data protection agreements with third party processors and controllers. Managing intercompany agreements relating to the transfer of data between entities, particularly those in different jurisdictions. Lead (or co-lead) a cross-functional team in developing and implementing an information governance framework, including policies and processes relating to the creation, storage, sharing and retention of Company information. Advise and counsel members of Parker’s OACE in their efforts to manage and improve Parker’s global compliance program. Coordinate with key internal stakeholders and any supporting external counsel on legal matters impacting information technology, data privacy, cyber security and compliance.
