Senior Counsel

The Candidate will report directly to the Chief Deputy Attorney General (CDAG) for Economic Justice and serve as a chief advisor, assisting the CDAG in leading the Division. Will include: Identify areas ripe for creative affirmative enforcement and litigation, including multi-state impact litigation brought by state attorneys general; Assist the CDAG with the management and oversight of the Division’s docket and daily operations; Liaise regularly with Bureau Chiefs, managers and attorneys on active matters and provide legal and strategic support as needed; Review, recommend and implement changes to the DEJ’s workflows and tracking mechanisms to ensure a consistency of practice across the Division and the effective and efficient disposition of matters; Oversee and expand professional development programming, including providing opportunities for staff training and mentorship; and Initiate, organize and coordinate complex investigations and other special projects.
