Duties

• Handle cases from inception through resolution, including hearings, motions, and plea negotiations, or trial.
• Draft and litigate pretrial motions.
• Negotiate plea agreements and advise clients on litigation risks.
• Build relationships with clients while developing effective legal strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed in Virginia (DC bar a plus).
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• 1-5 years litigation experience preferred (will consider exceptional new attorneys).
• Professional, reliable, and client-focused.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Virginia Law License (Required).
