Job Title: Junior Structured Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Miami, FL, is seeking a junior-level associate to join its structured finance and derivatives team. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work on complex financial transactions and regulatory matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. Ideal candidates will bring a solid foundation in structured finance with a focus on ISDA documentation, over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives, and related regulatory protocols. The position is being offered through a legal recruiting firm on behalf of the hiring law firm.

Duties:

• Support structured finance transactions with a focus on derivative instruments

• Draft, review, and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Confirmations, and Credit Support Annexes

• Advise on regulatory matters related to Dodd-Frank and ISDA compliance protocols

• Collaborate with attorneys and clients across offices on complex financial documentation

• Assist with transactional due diligence and risk assessment

• Provide legal analysis related to derivatives regulations and market practices

• Ensure timely and accurate deliverables under tight deadlines

• Participate in internal meetings, client calls, and cross-functional legal initiatives

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of focused experience in derivatives and structured finance law

• Familiarity with over-the-counter derivatives, regulatory frameworks, and standard ISDA documentation

• Experience at an Am Law 100 or similarly structured legal practice preferred

• Admitted to practice law in Florida and good standing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

Skills:

• Advanced legal writing and analytical reasoning

• Strategic thinking and strong business acumen

• Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities

• Strong interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
