Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, and trial.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (required).
• Litigation experience in New York, Florida, or both.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom and trial skills.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with case management systems and litigation software.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar license in Texas.
