FW Legal Recruiting & Development Manager (Marketing & Communications)

The candidate will develop the global marketing and communications strategy for the Legal Recruiting & Development Team. Craft ideas and content for weekly team communications, Firmwide communications and team-specific materials for legal recruiting, training, attorney engagement, alumni, concierge and CareerLink teams. Review, edit and write content for presentations, internal and external communications, partnership ads, newsletters, event invitations, communications plans and other marketing materials. Partner with FW communication individuals across other teams to find opportunities to story tell, share both Firm and LRD wins, achievements, initiatives and updates, both internally and externally, with law students and potential recruits. Work with local LRD leads to project manage associate satisfaction survey initiatives, as well as partner with the third-party organizations who host the annual surveys. Act as an LRD ambassador on FW communications projects, including with the implementation of new tools. Work with our Branding & Creative team, as well as Business Development teams, to ensure consistency of Firm branding. Support the Firm’s social media efforts to enhance our recruiting marketing. Work with the Firm’s data team to create and update distribution lists and to monitor communications metrics. Stay current on marketing and communications trends and tools. Bachelor’s degree is required, with a specialization in communications, journalism, HR or an equivalent field. Law firm or professional services experience is a plus. Experience with content writing and creation is required. Technical experience should include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HTML at minimum, with a proven track record of easily adapting to new software and technologies is required. Experience with e-marketing platforms is necessary. Experience with InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop is a plus.
