Duties

• Represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and discovery demands.
• Conduct depositions and organize case files and documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar efficiently.
• Represent clients at court hearings and mediations.
• Negotiate and settle cases effectively.

Requirements

• J.D. and membership in the Minnesota State Bar.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a Family Law attorney.
• Ability to consistently bill 6 hours per day.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
