Job Overview:
A law firm dedicated to immigration advocacy is seeking a Bilingual Associate Attorney to support its growing family and humanitarian immigration practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with a strong passion for helping undocumented individuals navigate the complex immigration system. The attorney will advise clients, lead case strategies, supervise legal support staff, and ensure high standards in legal filings and client service.

Duties:
Identify potential immigration relief for clients and develop legal strategies
Provide legal advice and support to clients in a variety of immigration matters
Supervise non-attorney legal team members and ensure quality control in their work
Train and mentor legal support staff on immigration procedures and ethical obligations
Review and edit USCIS applications and accompanying materials
Answer legal questions from team members and support internal knowledge sharing
Remain current on immigration laws, policies, and regulations
Handle applications and filings including RFEs, NOIDs, consular processing, and interview preparation
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on family-based and humanitarian cases
Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and lead a legal support team
Experience working with applications such as VAWA, U-Visa, T-Visa, Asylum, Medical Deferred Action, I-601, DS-260, DS-160, I-130, and N-400
Commitment to client advocacy and ethical legal practice
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and good standing member of a U.S. state bar
Skills:
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
Adaptability to evolving immigration laws and client needs
Passion for service and continuous process improvement
