A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its team in New York, NY. The attorney will manage motor vehicle liability cases from intake through settlement, representing plaintiffs in New York.

Duties

• Manage pre-litigation cases from intake through settlement, including strategy and documentation.
• Complete necessary approvals and guide clients through the case lifecycle.
• Draft and prepare pre-litigation documents such as demands and settlement packages.
• Negotiate settlements with carriers.
• Supervise a team of 6-10 Case Managers, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
• Conduct recorded statements and prepare clients for hearings and examinations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 1+ years of personal injury/motor vehicle accident experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Leadership ability and self-starter mindset.
• Excellent writing and advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
