Job Title: Senior Structured Finance Associate Attorney Or Counsel

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel for its Structured Finance team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have experience representing financial institutions in a wide array of asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions, and will be involved in esoteric securitizations and first-of-their-kind transactions. The practice focuses on creating innovative business structures for capital, including capital markets and structured finance.

Duties:

• Represent financial institutions (issuers, underwriters, borrowers, lenders, sellers, and purchasers) in structured finance transactions, such as asset-backed securitizations and structured lending.

• Work with esoteric capital markets securitizations, both publicly issued and privately placed.

• Handle transactions involving the whole business, digital infrastructure, and media royalty securitizations.

• Engage in structured private credit facilities and similar innovative financial products.

• Provide legal expertise in capital markets and/or leveraged finance with an interest in esoteric securitization.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in structured finance, capital markets, or leveraged finance.

• Experience in asset-backed securitization and structured lending transactions.

• Strong background in working with financial institutions and handling complex transactions.

• Demonstrated ability to work on large, high-value transactions.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

• Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in New York.

Skills:

• Expertise in structured finance and asset-backed securities.

• Strong transactional, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage complex legal and financial transactions.

• Superior communication and negotiation skills.
