Duties:

• Handle complex insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters.
• Advise clients on professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance policy issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda, motions, and other litigation-related documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and support staff while working independently when necessary.
• Participate in business development efforts and contribute to client relationship management.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Proven track record of managing complex cases, particularly in insurance and reinsurance matters.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy skills and experience representing clients in court or other legal proceedings.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of California.
