A respected law firm in Woodbridge, VA, is seeking a motivated and bilingual Immigration Attorney to join their legal team. Duties

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Courts.
• Advise clients on immigration law eligibility and prepare applications for submission to USCIS and Immigration Courts.
• Handle cases related to immigration bond hearings, removal defense, and business immigration (e.g., L, H, B, E visas, I-140s, PERMs).
• Interact with government agencies on behalf of clients.
• Travel to detention centers for client meetings, if required.
• Assist in other legal areas as needed by the firm.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law.
• Comprehensive knowledge of immigration law and court procedures.
• Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently and professionally.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state (Virginia or Maryland Bar preferred).

Skills

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Positive, professional, and client-focused demeanor.
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication abilities.
