A highly respected national law firm is seeking a Construction and General Liability Associate Attorney with at least four years of litigation experience. Duties

• Independently manage cases involving insurance defense, general liability, auto/transportation liability, and NYS Labor Law construction matters.

• Collaborate closely with attorneys, team members, and partners on complex legal projects.

• Handle court appearances and depositions regularly.

• Provide clients with clear, consistent updates and strategic legal guidance.

• Engage in case analysis, negotiation, and litigation preparation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of litigation experience, including cases taken to mediation or trial.

• Prior experience with insurance defense, premises liability, and general liability.

• Familiarity with New York State Labor Law (sections 200, 240, 241) is a plus.

• OSHA hearing experience is a plus.

• Background experience with Corporation Counsel or District Attorney's Office is a plus.

• Ability to independently manage caseloads efficiently.

• Familiarity with legal project management is a bonus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York.
