Mortgage Closing Coordinator
Responsibilities: Schedules loan closings and obtains hazard insurance binder, loan payoffs, subordinations, and pre-closing verification of employment. Reviews documentation for accuracy and compliance with TRID standards and mortgage lending policies. Prepares closing packages for assigned loans, meeting minimum daily file load expectations established by management. Funds and disburses loan proceeds for assigned loans, meeting minimum daily file load expectations established by management. Performs quality control review of loan files for accuracy. Reviews and approves final Closing Disclosure and runs compliance checks to identify RESPA, TILA, HOEPA, and QM issues. Complete all role specific, HR and company training sessions, courses and materials as assigned by management. Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner consistent with professional standards to work effectively with members, co-workers, management and vendors Demonstrates the Credit Union’s core value. Keeps abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to changes in regulations and technology. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Banking/Credit Union Regulations. Performs additional duties as required.
